These gears are perfectly lapped, meaning theyre broken in together and guaranteed to mesh perfectly every time. This keeps everything running smooth and strong in all conditions. Throw in a 300M front output shaft and youre left with the best Polaris transmission on the market.

A Better Pinion Bearing Retainer
Your weak OEM pinion bearing retainer tends to let the pinion gear pull away from the snorkel gear. This results in the gears chipping teeth, pulling apart, and breaking. Thanks to our bigger, redesigned pinion bearing retainer, that isnt something you need to worry about. Weve designed the retainer to keep your pinion gear held firmly in place.

Top-Quality Transmission Case
The icing on this transmission cake is our rock-solid case. It adds extra strength where you need it the most. We use 68% more metal on the axle output and snorkel tube, which is where OEM transmission cases tend to fail. We also added extra support ribs and gussets for added strength. Those extra ribs keep everything running cool, ensuring this is a transmission case that will keep you on the trails for years on end.

You Pick Your Gear Reduction
Extra torque lets you do more, especially if youve added extra weight or monster tires to your side-by-side. Thats why we offer multiple gear reduction options with this Polaris RZR Trail S 1000 transmission. Choose from stock, 12.5%, 25%, or 37.5% to get the perfect amount of torque for the way you ride. The larger the gear reduction, the easier it will be to turn your tires on rough, hair-raising rides.
