Our modular design initially looks complicated but it all has a reason

1,Mongoose designed this using 76mm Pipework and flexi section,this was thensplit into two parts to make it easier to ship and to install.

2, The flexi section comes as 2 different options, with either a 2.5 flange or 3 flange on the end where it meets the rest of the cat back system. We wanted to make a true 3 bore system for this vehicle, but when we tested the 3 flange up against an OE cat back we found that the flange on the OE cat back is only 78mm tall and with a 76mm hole this would only give 1mm each side for the gasket to seal which is not good enough and will most likely end with a leaking joint.

3,The mongoose decat is available witha2.5 flange so it mates up to and OE system if you like or you can purchase it with a 3 flange to mate up to a Mongoose 3 cat back system (also we now do a 3 adaptor for the cat back system giving a full turbo to back 76mm bore)
