During R&D, COBB engineers used computer fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis to design end tanks with internal air-diverting fins. These fins maximize airflow across the entire core, ensuring consistent cooling efficiency. With cast aluminum end tanks embossed with the COBB logo, 2.5″ inlet / 3″ outlet, and 3″ mandrel-bent aluminum piping, this intercooler is engineered for performance and reliability.

Installation is straightforward and requires no permanent modifications. The upgrade is fully compatible with the factory MAP sensor and pairs perfectly with tuning via the COBB Accessport. Although not required, tuning unlocks the intercoolers full potentialespecially when running Stage 2 Off-The-Shelf maps.
