The COBB Turbo Inlet V2 is a high-performance upgrade and direct replacement for the factory turbo inlet on 20082020 Subaru STI models. Constructed from durable black 6-ply silicone, the inlet resists high under-hood temperatures to keep intake air closer to ambient temperature, improving efficiency and consistency under load. A steel wire reinforced design prevents hose collapse under vacuum at peak demand while maintaining enough flexibility to accommodate engine movement.

The V2 design introduces key improvements that make installation easier and fitment cleaner. Machined billet aluminum adapters for the Post-MAF hose and BPV return ensure a more secure connection. A plug-and-play PCV adapter provides OEM-level integration, while redesigned fittings eliminate protrusions into the airway, improving airflow and reliability. The overall path of the inlet has also been refined to provide significantly better clearance around TGV housings, simplifying installation and improving fit.

This turbo inlet requires appropriate tuning adjustments. COBB provides Off-The-Shelf (OTS) map support for select vehicles to accommodate this modification, making it easier to optimize performance while ensuring reliability.
