Years back all motor oil had a zinc additive to help with cam break-in and lengthen the overall lifespan of your camshaft and lifters. You can supplement any motor oil with ZDDP additives, but those are expensive. Why not just use an oil like you used to? 20W-50 motor oil with zinc is the only oil we recommend here at the No Name.
